At Centreville Dental Wellness Center, our staff is dedicated to serving the oral health care needs of our community. Located in Centreville Square and headed by our dentists Dr. Jason Abel and Dr. Rena Vakay, we bring many years of professional experience and caring to our patients. In addition to our dedication to our patients who come to our office, our team is also involved in many local community events as well as national and international charities and organizations. We are very proud of our team members for their trip to the Philippines to provide care to people there as part of the MOM – Medical Mission of Mercy volunteer expedition. We have also been a part of the Ryan Lopynski Big Heart Foundation, which promotes awareness of heart problems in children and young adults. Our doctors have won numerous awards including being voted as one of the “Best Dentists in America” (Dr. Rena Vakay) and are members of numerous professional organizations including the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Virginia Dental Association, the Northern Virginia Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry and KOIS Center. Our office has also been involved with the Boy Scouts of America, Wounded Warriors, Seton Spirit, Charity Works, as well as many other organizations locally.
All members of our staff are highly trained professionals, and our dentists received their training in prestigious schools including Richmond’s VCU/MCV School of Dentistry, Georgetown University Dental School, the L.D. Pankey Institute in Florida and Creating Restorative Excellence/The Kois Center in Seattle, Washington. Our office uses state-of-the-art equipment to ensure the most accurate, effective and comfortable care possible for all of our patients. We have a unique approach to dentistry because our dentists believe in an individual approach to each patient. We don’t subscribe to the notion of the same treatment for everyone, but instead we use a risk-assessment model to determine which treatments are right for each patient, and which treatments are not needed. Our dentists know that part of their ongoing education and discovery of new and better treatment options includes keeping up to date with the best options for their patients and customizing treatment for each patient. We offer dental services to people of all ages, including preventive, restorative and cosmetic dental services. Dr. Vakay is fabulous! She is the BEST dentist I have ever had.
I have always been a dental coward. When a tooth ache got very bad, I went to the Centreville Dental Wellness Center for help. This started me on a long period of processes, treatments and gentle care that has allowed me to overcome my fear and to bring my dental health back to where it is supposed to be. I can’t thank the staff at the Centreville Dental Wellness Center enough for their sensitive care.
I have been a patient at the Centreville Dental Wellness Center for approximately 15 years. I cannot offer enough praise for Dr. Vakay! She is without a doubt a top notch professional and accepts nothing but perfection in her work. She is by far the best dentist I have ever had. Thank you for your exceptional dental treatment and services!
Excellent practice. We were referred to them by a specialist that works with the Redskins . They are a class act. We recently made the switch for our kids from a pediatric dentist to Centreville Dental Wellness. Very happy we did. They are very kid friendly and did superior cleanings than the prior dentist. Highly recommend them.
This dental practice is absolutely wonderful. I have had multiple procedures and follow ups that have made me love my smile again! I have a lot of trepidation about dental work but this practice has made me enjoy the entire experience. My three year old daughter has recently become a patient as well and they were extra nurturing! Excellent practice! I travel from Arlington to continue to see them!
We were excited to open our doors on May 1 for regular patient care. We will continue to strive to provide a clean, safe and caring environment. You may notice a few differences when you arrive at our office, but they are part of the new protocol we have implemented.
IMPORTANT: rather than entering our office upon arrival, please call us first (703-815-0775) to let us know you’re here. You will be asked some screening questions over the phone, and then may enter our reception area where your temperature will be taken and hand sanitizer provided. You will then be escorted to a disinfected treatment room.
We are excited to welcome you back to our office!
